How to disable the weather widget on the Windows 11 taskbar
In a recent Windows 11 Insider update, Microsoft made several interesting changes and one of those changes is the weather icon, just like the one we see in Windows 10 News and Interests. However, not all of us are interested in this feature and one very positive thing is that you can disable the Weather on the Windows 11 taskbar how? It is very simple and we will explain several ways to achieve it a little more.

We must consider that this weather widget is not available to everyone. If we want to live this experience, we will have to use Albacore's ViveTool, which allows us to activate the function manually. For this we will have to download the latest version from GitHub.
Once the ZIP file has been downloaded, we will have to right-click on the file explorer and choose the option “Extract All”.
Next, we will click on "Browse".
Now we will have to locate Windows > System32 and then we will click on Select Folder in the lower right part of this window.
Once we choose the path, we will simply press "Extract" so that all this content will be transferred to the folder we chose earlier. .
Now we will press the Windows key, type “cmd” and click on “Run as administrator” in the right pane.

The first thing we need to do is right-click anywhere on the taskbar and choose “Taskbar Settings”.
Once we get into the configuration page of the taskbar, we will have to deactivate the "Tools" option and that's it. This way, we will not see the weather widget on the Windows 11 taskbar.

Another way to get rid of it is from the operating system settings. Let's start by pressing "Windows + i" and go to Personalization > Taskbar.
