  Millions of people celebrate Earth Day on April 22 each year, drawing attention to the impact of climate on the planet, a situation that is widely discussed from homes to international conventions led by heads of state, and the most important in the world.  Likewise, there are many TV channels and streaming platforms, such as Netflix, which have identified some thematic content to honor this history.


  In this sense, there is a marathon for all tastes: from disaster films inspired by real events, to choices for learning as a family.  They shared in their social networks a diverse list of documentaries on various problems that subscribers can explore.


  It is a series of nature documentaries produced by Netflix.  Our Planet (Our Planet) consists of one season of eight chapters narrated by David Attenborough in the original and narrated by Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek for Spain and Latin America respectively.  All episodes premiered on April 5, 2019. The title invites the user to experience the natural beauty of the Earth, as well as discover how climate change affects all living things.


 

  According to La Tierra de noche's official brief provided by the platform: "The nocturnal veil is lifted to show the hidden lives of different animals from all over the world, from lions that hunt to bats in flight."  The six-episode documentary series, which premiered in 2020, is narrated by Emmy Award-winning actress Samira Wiley.

  It is a luxury production, because for the first time cameras equipped with the technology necessary to record every movement at night, such as some ultra-sensitive to moonlight and others infrared, were used.  The production shows nature in the dark and in different parts of the world, from Alaska to Chilean Patagonia.


  David Attenborough, a well-known British scientist, and one of the most famous nature pioneers on television, is the lead author of Life in Color with David Attenborough, a production that will launch in 2021. Using innovative technology, this documentary series explores nature in three chapters from a new perspective and shows how  Animals use colors to survive.



  The Emmy winner looks back at the past and looks to the future in this 2020 production. As narrator of David Attenborough: Life on Our Planet, he looks back at his life and Earth's evolutionary history, while grieving the loss of wildlife and offering his vision for a better future.  Likewise, it analyzes humanity's impact on nature and actions to save the planet.

  One of the pioneers of nature documentaries, Attenborough has eight series to his credit and has made it possible to see nearly every aspect of life on Earth.


  Divided into two seasons of eight episodes in total, Animal, this gripping series follows the world's greatest creatures and showcases never-before-seen visuals with moments as extreme as their action.


 

  Produced by Plimsoll Productions and distributed to Netflix in 2021, narrated by Anthony Mackie and featuring Bryan Cranston, Rebel Wilson, Rashida Jones and Pedro Pascal, and between episodes, it explores the lives of big cats, octopuses, and marsupials.
