How to Convert PowerPoint to Google Slides
Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides are very useful tools for creating presentations. But you probably have a PowerPoint job that you want to convert to Google Slides, either for convenience or to be accessible wherever we are, without having to install software on that computer. Fortunately, converting an Office file to a Google Suggestion is very easy and fast.
Convert your PowerPoint file to Google Slides
The first thing we must do is visit the Google Slides website and log in. Next, we will click on the left box with the plus sign (+) and say "Blank" in order to start a new presentation on the home page.

Once we open a blank presentation, we will have to click on File > Open in the menu above.

In the pop-up window, we will have to select the "Upload" tab. Then we drag the PPTX file into the window, in addition we can click "Select a file from your device".
Convert PowerPoint files to Google Slides
Next, let's see that the slideshow opens immediately in Google Slides as the active presentation. The name of the slide show is the name of the PowerPoint file. Obviously, we can modify it by clicking on the text in the upper left corner.
From now on, we can make all the changes we want. You don't have to worry about saving the document, as the changes are saved automatically.
We can visit the Google Slides homepage and we'll see the presentation listed. We can even access it from Google Drive.
Transfer from Google Drive
We go to the main page of Google Drive and we will have to click on “New” in the upper left part of the screen, in the drop-down menu we will click on “Upload a file”.
Open the file
A new window opens from where we will have to search for the PowerPoint file that we want to upload. As soon as we find it, we select it and click "Open".
Open in Google Slides
When we're done uploading the file to Google Drive, we'll right-click on the button and choose Open With > Google Slides (Google Slides).
Save as Google Slides
Now, it will open in Google Slides, but it will still be a PowerPoint file, which is something we can see at the top, next to the name.

So, what we have to do is click on File > Save as Google Slides and in this way we can convert it.
This will open your presentation in a new tab, this time as a Google Slides file. From now on, any modification we make to the said file will be automatically saved to our account. We can access this file from Google Slides or Drive.
